Facts:
Fact: X-III is a bright glowing purple substance that has a vast number of uses, it is primarily used as both a fuel source and currency among the world’s Militia. The source of X-III can usually be different however all X-III comes from the very core of the old Earth, however it can often be mined from vein like formations or Krae Stones which are Crystals of virtually any size that often form in caverns or anywhere the land is rich with X-III.
Fact: Also often referred to as Earth 2, Eartherias is the Earth that formed over the old planet a long, long time ago. Most of it’s inhabitants are fantasy world type races such as people with animal like features (Cat ears, claws, cat tail, cat eyes and etc.) however, while most of the human race died off or ascended into outer space, there are still a hand full of humans left of whom inhabit the new earth…however they are mostly nomads. While the time line of Eartherias is set in the far distant future…history has basically reset itself so to speak giving our story the look and feel of mostly a Medieval Fantasy world, with the exception of the other half being Science Fiction. All throughout the world there are ruins of the once proud civilizations of mankind despite most of these ruins being the very top of Skyscrapers or buildings such as houses or churches that have somehow made their way up to the surface mostly intact.
Fact: Deep, deep below the surface of Eartherias rests a completely different world often illuminated by the glow of billions of Krae Stones virtually everywhere creating an artificial light almost as bright as the sun. Down here rests ruins of which were once the proud cities and towns of our once proud civilization as well as nature at it’s finest, while most of the oceans have long since dried up or made their way to the world above there are still lakes and springs, while most of these lakes and springs were once highly polluted the high concentration of X-III has cleansed the pollution over the years. Down here lives both wildlife of old and new, however among the wildlife lurks the Myrian of which are the demon race that are said to inhabit the Chaos realm. Over the years these demons have evolved due to X-III and more often than not these “mutations” make their way up to the surface. Most of the humans alive today have little to no knowledge of the Old Earth or where humanity originated from.
Fact: Most inhabitants of Eartherias believe in more than one deity while some believe in just one, the one of which they worship is called only "The Father".
Fact: The sun is has been replaced by…well…essentially a massive blackhole, this new black sun radiates pure X-III, when the original sun exploded Umbara replaced it with his very essence. While blackholes usually suck everything into them this one does not, however anything that goes into it will be sucked up and destroyed.
Fact: For as long as the sun has been black the moon has been red, though no one knows why.
Fact: Due to being the very essence of Umbara, X-III can be and has been weaponized, however not in the sense that its been made into some sort of killer gas. Rather, the power of X-III is harnessed and used to create magic items such as magical weapons or even magic armor. Hell, the humans went as far as using it to make special ammo and even special guns and all this like all other applications is done by processing it differently.
Fact: Dr. Stein: Doctor Franklyn Von Stein has been alive since 1969 and was the first ever human to successfully utilize Daedottern technology as well as the use of Daedottern DNA, he started by experimenting on his own body. He is also the one who created the Advanced Adaptive Habitatual System or A.A.H.S. for short, While he was not the person of whom discovered X-III itself, he is however the first person to have discovered it’s medical applications.
Fact: The A.A.H.S. is a mask created from purely Daedottern technology that when worn displays a person’s vitals and stamina, it does this by augmenting reality and by merging with the wearer’s own body. These masks are so advanced that they can display virtual maps as well as access data from any form of existing network from very far ranges, these masks are more commonly called Habitat Masks and unlike most masks these masks usually don’t have a face. While most no one can see anything from the outside the wearer can see everything as clear as before putting on the mask if not better than that, one of the most common functions of the masks is the ability to see extremely far out up to about 25,000 miles out, however other functions such as night vision, infrared and thermal vision are able to be activated by the company or person selling it. These masks do not come cheap and the more add-ons a person wants for their A.A.H.S. the more money or X-III it’s going to cost them. For some people, mainly back in the old days when the most top secret of the human military used these masks they had an AI installed and while the odds of finding one of the masks from before the end of the old world are low, it is still possible to find one of the factories or old shops that sold them. Habitat Masks are more commonly used by the human factions that still remain on Eartherias or even that own the many space colonies. Did I mention that they usually have a built in cooling system? Side note: A.A.H.S stands for Advanced Adaptive Habitatual System, you know...in case you were curious.
Fact: Both Daedottern DNA and Technology is used by the human population for basically everything including their highly advanced HoloBase. Humans have adapted their DNA and tech into their daily lives for such things as weapons and even entertainment as it exceeds most if not all limitations of normal science.
Fact: Most Vymerrians and Grastalingardians are highly racist towards Nekomiri mainly due in part to their tendency to be what they call "Good For Nothing Thieves and Cutthroats." and this makes things such as trade rather impossible for most Nekomiri. However, most of the denizens of the Eartherian Continent welcome Nekomiri just as much as they welcome all races, however some countries in Eartheria are highly racist against humans and therefore naturally racist against Vymerrians and usually will not let very many of them into their Kingdoms or Capitals let alone their country
Fact: The Great War started 2E 298ATF during the 1st moon and ended sometime around 2E 303ATF after all eight kingdoms came together and formed an empire, after the seven nation empire was formed between all eight kingdoms they formed a temporary alliance with the Grastalingardian Empire. As to what the Great War was, it was a war between the demigods and gods of which took place on the mortal plane getting many normal Vymerrians involved as well as putting the very world in danger.
Fact: The Vymerrian Empire was founded after the Great War which started in 2E 298ATGF (After The Fall.) and ended around 2E 303ATGF lasting exactly 100 years. The Empire is named after the continent and their goal is maintaining order, whereas most other empires on the planet aim towards expansion of land. To be of the Vymerrian bloodline is to uphold the law and ensure that the balance is kept. When the Vymerrian Empire was founded it was formed by eight kings who agreed to come together. The kingdoms with the most power in the empire are The Vymerrian Kingdom of the North, Valoria of the South, Valkiria of The North and Everstone of the West, Kelcri of the East. The Lesser kingdoms are Ellion, Vaetrustia and Valteria. Each of the kingdoms listed make up the Empire, The Vymerrian Capital is home to eight Lords who own Castles on a massive island the size of a modern day Continent, this island is known for its many ports starting with Port Nora which is the main port used for trade and for travel.
Fact: The Grastalingardian Empire was founded in 1E 300 ATGF ( After The Fall.) and is said to be the oldest empire and longest lasting one, the empire is made up of war craved tyrants and overlords who have no intentions of peace. Both the Vymerrian Empire and the Grastalingardian Empire have been at war for well over a thousand years and many times Vymerrian homelands have been invaded and enslaved by the Grastalingardian Empire. This empire is made up of eight well known kingdoms, Grastalingrad, Protherias, Gyvek, Glindalfal, Nyferia. Nymerria, Hoinel and Berek.
Fact: While history has basically reset and the events of the past long forgotten all of the entire civilization of Eartherias have some extent of knowledge regarding "The Great Fall" and or the end of the first world (Earth), however to them it is merely a story or a myth...even so they mark any year or number of years after that as ATGF which stands for After The Great Fall and any period before that is simply BTGF which obviously stands for Before The Great Fall, in some cases they will leave out the "G" just to shorten it.
Fact: Using a small storage room or a cellar and magical cryo crystals, the Zamara family are able to keep such things as meats refrigerated and fresh for long periods of time. Other than a very small select few of people only the Zamara family knows of this having invented it themselves.
Fact: Though no one actually knows when clocks were invented, the invention has proven useful and convenient for the Vymerrian and Grastalingardian homelands. Clocks run on stored mana and can be bought virtually anywhere.
Fact : When it comes to the banking system the banks are made up of hundreds of underground and above ground vaults the size of two bedrooms, containing various chests and lock boxes within. Anyone can use the bank system, however they must create a bank account and pay a small new member’s fee. After an account has been created and copies of your information has been created you will receive a fancy key that unlocks the door to your assigned vault and a fancy badge you can’t get anywhere else, the badge along with your legal documents will have to be shown to the bank before you can withdraw money or items from your assigned vault ( At each and every bank rather in the same kingdom or not.). However, when depositing money or items into a vault you do not need to show a badge or papers and merely need to state the vault owner’s name and pay a mall fee. This fee had to be paid rather withdrawing or depositing, its a small fee of 1 silver (100 copper.) despite some banks charging 2 silver (200 Copper.). The process for the rest of Eartherias or even the outer space colonies is a bit different but virtually the same, only they mostly use X-III as a currency as well as currency from their ruling Region/Kingdom. However, the space colonies such as E013 rely solely on credits but do trade in X-III.
Fact: Hydra’s Rest is a famous high end Inn & Tavern ( Located just inside the city gate of Delmas to the right and past a few shops.) that at night is also a brothel, the building itself is a massive building consisting of 4 floors, each level housing ten rooms. Located underneath the Inn is the indoor bath house. Hydra’s Rest is a building crafted from stone and wood while also having been reinforced with iron and steel.
Fact: Each Major kingdom has their own hero of legend within the Vymerrian Empire such as Amon Amory who is the Vymerrian Emperor, only a few have some kind of legendary weapon however.
Fact: There are seven legendary “God Weapons” hidden away within the world, but only three of them have ever actually been found. One is the Frozen Dragonslayer, Frostmir and the second one is The Divinity Eater, Magis Eater meaning “Greater Eater” however it is known by a few other names as well. Then, you have the deadliest one hidden away so that it's power may never again consume the world known as The Forbidden Blade, like it's other half it's real name is Umbara. Another one is Ingiris and Zynethia which were the Legendary Shield and Sword of the God Weapons, the shield which was Ingiris could stand up to and block any and all damage as well as either completely negate magic attacks or send them back at the enemy while Zynethia was a heavenly sword created by Umbara that was enchanted with his Black Flame. Neither could be broken, not even by the gods.
Fact: The Vymerrian Empire won the great war after discovering an advanced Lydoll that agreed to act as the guardian of the empire, this doll was the sole reason the war was won and the world saved.
Fact: Vymerrium is the rarest and most sought after metal in the entire continent of Vymerra, it is 100x stronger and far more durable than steel and never stains, this black or sometimes iridescent purple metal is made up of unknown elemental properties. Vymerrium is stainless and can not be broken or shattered easily if at all.
Fact: Most believe that the world is flat while some argue that it is round, meanwhile some people simply could care less if its flat or round.
Fact: Many villages, towns and cities have a guild hall belonging to a guild. The Vymerrian Capital is home to three major guilds. Xelista, Magis Magus and The Adventurers Guild, these three guilds are The Warrior’s, The Mages and of course the Adventurers. All three guild halls are located in one large building.
Fact: Though the Adventurers Guild provides quests, they are also a go to source for normal everyday jobs as well.
Fact: Almost all the water on the Vymerrian Continent is red.
Fact: Old Everstone used to belong to the inhabitants of the kingdom of Everstone before they relocated, now it belongs to Grimskull.
Fact: Grimskull is more than just a large clan, Grimskull is a massive underground organization that does it all and yet very few people even knew about them…despite being “Large Scale”.
Fact: Indigo Heart was an odd concoction of a strange Indigo colored fruit called the Xenojinovae Fruit, strawberries, cherries and a small touch of Daisy Dew powder, despite the ingredients the color of this Ale is actually more or less black with a crimson glow. It is very…well…potent. This ale is only for the strong…if they can handle it.
Fact: The Xenojinovae Fruit is this giant fruit that looks like a combination between an apple, a grapefruit and a pear. The outside is a beautiful Indigo color while the fruit itself is black and the liquid is crimson like blood and even glows despite not being toxic. The best parts about it is that its not only seedless but the inside is extremely soft and just the right amount of sweet…when ripe at least, when its not ripe its very sour.
Fact: LBD starts off in the year 938298ATGF and will probably lead up to about 2-3 years into the future if not a little longer.
Fact: The HCS or Hologram Computer System which was a huge glass screen on the surface of a desk that projected everything upwards where it could be moved around and interacted with.
Fact: The HoloBase also referred to at times as The HoloNet was the highly advanced and futuristic version of what we call the internet, but it also refers to all the holographic data stored and accessed through holographic devices such as the HCS or the GhostCom.
Fact: The GhostCom refers to the holographic communication systems that run off of Ghost Energy and were greatly used by the humans, they are similar to HCSs in the sense that they are essentially a huge glass screen on a wall, floor, desk or table. However, there are hand held versions of which are essentially small phone sized tablets.
Fact: Ghost Matter is a new form of energy created by harnessing the almost endless and seemingly limitless power of the essence of Umbara harnessed from X-III and combined with Daedottern properties the color of this energy varies from the same color of the sun to a bright neon green depending on how much is used and what its used for. Most GCWs or Ghost Caliber Weapons run on this energy while the older model weapons harness the same power yet use essentially regular yet modified ammunition, by modified I mean that inside these bullets is X-III and the bullets are made out of Daedottern technology allowing the bullets to travel thousands of miles as well as have remote controlled trajectory.
Fact: With the highly advanced Ghost Caliber bullets you can remotely control the trajectory and speed of the bullet fired, the bullet also has a chance of exploding and even if it doesn't it will blow a massive hole straight throw you at close or even far range...like...a really big hole. These bullets can also travel a few thousand miles if shot from the right type of gun. Ghost Calibers and Ghost Caliber weapons were created by the Daedotta for human use but were mainly used by Androids or Lydolls.
Facts: The Forbidden Blade: When Umbara first created his two physical forms as Balance he created a humanoid form with unmatched beauty with wings of pure darkness and an ever changing sword, both acted as one being. When Lucifer used the blade to pierce the heart of Umbara it caused the blade to become corrupted and hungry for power and so also seeking a new physical host it had found its way into the hands of countless beings including gods over the years. Those who dare to try to wield it usually die after seven days, this is because it tries to devour your soul or essence to then replace you with it's own will. It first corrupts your mind and then corrupts your body causing physical changes and making you look more demon than man, as it is trying to create the ultimate host and then on the seventh day you die because your body can not withstand any further changes as well as it's power is two great. However, while you wield it you are essentially a weaker version of Umbara himself.
Fact: The guns and weaponry of the LBDU can be as old as a flintlock pistol to as futuristic as a Particle Cutter or a Fusion Grenade, however such weapons as guns and all that are scarcely ever seen on Eartherias though the normal weaponry of our real life modern day can sometimes be obtained within Old World ruins such as old gun shops or abandoned Military Bases. If one were to explore the Old world then they could essentially find all the Old World tech and weapons. The more futuristic weaponry is used by UPOE or Stone Spire Industries or even FairStone and are not usually used by anyone other than a group of mercs.
Fact: While the ancient and massive black book with the mark of Umbara on it's cover is without a name and has no tittle, it was written long ago by Dontae who took to calling it the Umbarium Historian which essentially translates into "The History of Umbara" despite Umbarium having various meanings. The book is set to magically record any and all knowledge regarding the events of Umbara's life.
Fact: In the LBDU, the rules for age differ based on the timeline the planet or colony is based on For the humans who inhabit the outer space colonies or of the UPOE faction a boy becomes a man on his 18th birthday as does a girl, whereas on Eartherias a boy becomes a man on his 14th birthday and a girl a woman on her 17th birthday. This goes for most of the humans on Eartherias too as they are required to obey the laws laid out by the newer races.
Fact: The only thing that can do any damage and even temporarily kill Umbara is himself, this implies that if one were to use The Forbidden Blade against him or even a fragment of it they could therefore defeat him thus driving him back into Dar'Kora where he will remain sealed away until either released or he finds some way to escape. Otherwise he is sealed away for all of eternity. To truly defeat him you must gain entry to his realm and defeat him there.
Fact: When it comes to Daedottern Technology, even their lowest low level tech is far superior to our most advanced human technology. A lot of their tech has even been known to transcend our very understanding of logic and reasoning. The possibilities that opened up for mankind upon discovering it were and still are almost endless.
Fact: A Gravivator is a form of Elevator. The gravity around it is manipulated to make it go either up or down, or whichever direction the area around it allows.
Fact: Daedottern Metal, this is the strongest and most durable metal in the entire LBDU, it is also the most sought after in the entire universe. It is so strong and so durable that it can take a shot or two from a particle cannon and still have no less than a small dent, Daedottern Metal can not be broken by normal means and like Vymerrium it never stains, however unlike Vymerrium it never erodes or rusts. It takes a lot of damage to so much as damage this metal and things such as explosives or armor piercing rounds are proven to be ineffective against it whereas energy based weapons may deal some damage over time. If one were to get their hands on this metal they'd surely be unstoppable. Despite all this, this metal does not really weigh that much and is very light compared to other metals.
Fact: There are three different ways of getting infected with The Corpse Plague.
1: Through consumption of blood, this means if blood makes contact with a cut, is drank, or you cook you some good Ol' Zombie on a stick that you will be infected.
2: Through DNA, so sex...if you're dumb enough to fuck a Corpse.... Also means saliva, if they bite you or their spit gets on a wound you'll be infected.
3: If they cut you with their nails it may also infect you.
Fact: Each of the space colonies has up to five levels which are only as big as one of the USA’s largest city, with a total population of 1million.
Fact: AAHSA (Advanced Adaptive Habitatual System Augment.) which was an augment using the technology from the mask variant. Like the mask it is created from purely Daedottern technology that when worn displays a person’s vitals and stamina, it does this by augmenting reality and by merging with the wearer’s own body. the masks were so advanced that they could display virtual maps as well as access data from any form of existing network from very far ranges. One of the most common functions of these new augments is the ability to see extremely far out up to about 25,000 miles out, however other functions such as night vision, infrared and thermal vision are able to be activated by the company or person selling it. The augment also comes with the option of having an AI built into the program. This started as a project by the High Council making it so that very few people outside of the High Council had this augment, but after SSI defeated the High Council they took over production of the project. It is simply a replacement for the mask variant made into the form of an augment that augments both the brain and the eyes.
Fact: DTD or Daedottern Travel Device is a teleportation device created by Stone Spire Industries that can teleport you to any location so long as you put in the right specifications, it uses both magic and science and can take you anywhere within mere moments making ships a thing of the past.
